Winter/Spring camps are finally over, and it's time to move-in to town.
Memorial Day Weekend is traditionally the start of the performance season,
and is also the hardest rehearsal weekend as we continue putting together
the pieces for our production. Below is some pertinent information to
get you ready for the summer season.
Memorial Day camp begins at 7pm Friday evening at Wisconsin Heights High
School. It is vital that you arrive on time so we can get the most done
this weekend.
Our schedule for the weekend will include more drill (charts should be
posted soon), cleaning of music, and preparation for Monday's parade &
Brat Fest standstill performance.
NOW...DETAILS ON MEMORIAL DAY PERFORMANCES:
1. Uniform for Monday's performances will be: New member t-shirt (passed
out during the weekend), blue jeans, tennis white tennis shoes - - no
skater shoes.
2. Parade music will be: St. Louis Blues & Family Guy....make sure
you memorize both!
3. Performances will be done by 2pm on Monday, so those heading home
can do so any time after that.
MOVING IN?
Housing assignments are still being worked on. You will know where you're
staying before you arrive so that you can coordinate with your host(s).
If you have not already done so, contact Marc with the date you plan on
moving in so that we can properly notify your host(s).
WHAT TO BRING FOR SUMMER:
Pack enough clothing for two weeks. Yes...you will be able to do laundry
during your time here. Bringing too much stuff will only bog you down
during the season, and create more difficulty at the end. If you are unsure
of what specifically you need, contact one of the veterans and they can
give you more information.
