Capital Sound Inactive for 2008...Will Return Stronger in 2009.

It is with extreme sadness that I announce Capital Sound has gone inactive for the 2008 drum corps season.

Unfortunately, circumstances forced us to make a decision that, while extremely difficult, was in the best interest of our membership.

HOWEVER...this is not the end of a proud organization. Rather, it's an opportunity to re-establish our Madison roots, create a stronger local presence, and to truly become a part of the next generation of great drum corps.

We are all committed to making sure Capital Sound emerges from our hiatus ready to bring our fans, and drum corps audiences around the country, a brand of on-the-field entertainment that will continue being fun and exciting...something we're proud to be known for.

Our off-season programs (bingo and UW Badgers concessions) will continue, and recruiting for our '09 return will launch this August. You won't want to miss out.
In the meantime, we're still hosting our annual show, Music in Motion. Details and ticket information can be found to the left. Don't miss this incredible show, and stop by our booth to say hi and show your support.

Finally, let me personally say thank you to everyone for your support, well-wishes, and encouragement. Our members, staff and volunteers truly appreciate it...and I'm very grateful for it.

We'll see you all in 2009...I know you're going to love us!
